Coren Shoves But Gets No Takers

VIcky Coren, on the big blind in a limped pot, open-shoved the turn of a {9-Spades} {3-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {8-Spades} board, or almost did -- she stuck 4,300 in the middle, leaving herself around 300 in green 25-denomination chips behind. Priyan De Mel seemed to be considering it, but in the end everyone folded and she received a welcome boost to her uncomfortably small stack.

Check-Call-Muck

Oops
Oops
Elky raised to 600 in early position and was called by Sebastian Ruthenberg in the cutoff, but another player on the button made it 1,600 to go. Call and call.

Flop: {6-Spades} {4-Clubs} {8-Spades}

It checked around to the player on the button, and he fired out another 1,800. Elky called and Ruthenberg folded. Elky check-called 1,300 from his opponent on the {Q-Clubs} turn as well, and then both players checked the {Q-Spades} river. The opponent threw down {K-Spades} {K-Hearts} and Elky mucked. He drops down to 14,000.

Locals Update

Richard Toth is out, but his fellow Hungarians, Tibor Tolnai and Denes Kalo, are both alive and thriving. They both have around 16,000 a piece. Tibor now has bracelet winner Alan Smurfit at his table.
