Eastgate - Double Double

Peter Eastgate was knocked to just 5,900 after a big threeway coup that rocketed Andrew Feldman up in chips. Feldman got it in against Eastgate and Sandor Demjan with a straight and flush draw (the straight hit on the river).

So, back to the double ups: Eastgate instantly moved all in and Sandor Demjan called on the button. {K-Diamonds}

for Eastgate vs. {Q-Diamonds}

for Demjan. The flop of {3-Clubs}

raised some eyebrows of sympathy, but Eastgate spiked a {K-Hearts}

.

The next hand, his 14,400 was in again, this time racing {K-Diamonds}

against his opponent's {6-Spades}

. This time he received two kings, and suddenly it looks like he might not be going home before the end of play today.

Dwyer Tumbled; Devilfish Takes His Seat

John Dwyer has been eliminated, and Hull's own Dave Ulliott has taken his place. A short stack too, he just took a few chips from the erstwhile leader Sandor Demjan like this:

Devilfish saw a threeway flop in position: {9-Hearts}

. The preflop raiser checked, Demjan bet 16k. Devilfish said without malice, "F***" and moved all in for 16k on top. Then came the chat, "Have a look," he said, and slid his hand toward Demjan. "Put it in the bin and have a look. I got the best hand."

Demjan passed, and Devilfish showed him {A-Hearts}

for top pair.

Greenstein Wakes Up

Barry Greenstein, hovering around the 35,000 mark, just picked up a little pot raising to 2,400 preflop and was called by Vanessa Rousso in position, as well as the big blind. Checked to him on the {10-Spades}

flop, he bet 5,000, and both his opponents passed quickly.
