Day 1b Started
Why hello there ladies and gentlemen and welcome to the luxurious Casino de Barcelona where we will be bringing you live coverage of the 2010 EPT Barcelona, brought to you by PokerStars.com
Yesterday 263 players took to the felt but only 137 survived to make it through to Day 2. We only need 215 players to enter today to equal last year's attendance and if we do not reach that, then I will literally eat my hat.
A whole host of stars are booked to play today, including England's Team PokerStars Pro, the delightful Liv Boeree and the man who spent $17,500 on fees for a private jet just so he could play here today, Daniel Negreanu.
Join us from noon local time for the lowdown on who is hot and who is not.
In the mean time don't forget to follow us on Twitter and keep up to date with other major tournament from around the world via our Live Reporting page
Over on PokerStars, Club PokerNews are pleased to announce we have several exclusive $15,000 Sunday Million & $2,000 PCA Freerolls that you cannot find anywhere else.
TD Thomas Kremser is on the mic, which means that this tournament is on the verge of kicking off, but judging by yesterday's announcements, which covered everything from the dinner break to the fire exit and were seemingly repeated in 400 languages, we could still be a good few minutes away from starting. Please stand by.
Level: 1
Blinds: 50/100
Ante: 0
The tournament has now begun and a number of notable players are already in their seats and ready for business

Day 1b has begun in much the same way that day 1a did but with one notable difference – it is bigger! More players, more spectators and it is a tight squeeze as we weave in and out of the tables.
There is also a different feel to the room today. Yesterday was very laid back but today there seems to be a more serious tone to the atmosphere.
Team Pokerstars Pro Liv Boeree is sat at table 26. Team Pokerstars Pros Angel Guillen and Betrand “ElkY” Grospellier are staring into each other souls over at table 16 but the most interesting table is table 13 where we have Team Pokerstar Pros Dario Minieri, Daniel Negreanu and young up and coming UK youngster John Eames – Eames recently won a side event at EPT Vienna for over €100,000.
It may be the winter season but it is still a rather mild 12 degrees out there today, but try telling that to some of the players inside the cardroom.
Whilst scouting for interesting hands to document I have seen many players in their traditional hoodies but also man huddled up like he is in Alaska, complete with a wooly scarf tighed tightly around his neck. There is also a man wearing a rather fetching woolen bobble hat, adourned with a large PokerStars logo.
Maybe they should take a leaf out of Dutch Team PokerStars Pro Marcel Luske who once again is dressed impeccably in a black business suit.
Table 18 could prove to be one of the most interesting in the room as it is currently the home to Team PokerStars Pro, Theo Jorgensen and Fabian Quoss.
Quoss has been on fire over the past couple of months, first reaching the final table of WPT London in August, then winning the English Poker Open in September, before coming fifth in the £20,000 High Roller Event at EPT London in October. Can he make it four consective months with a major score?
He added a few extra chips to his starting stack after he raised to 250 preflop from the cutoff seat and only the small blind decided to take him on.
Flop:
The small blind checked, Quoss bet a single purple 500 chips and the small blind instantly mucked. Easy game
