Keys Locked Out
The gentleman under the gun limped in only for the gentleman to his immediate left to make it 650 to go. A couple seats down and Muhamed Veselji made it 2,000 from the cutoff - and now James Keys on the button cold four-bet to 4,450. The limper and original raiser folded, Veselji flat-called, and they saw a flop.
Flop:
Both players checked. A turn.
Turn:
Veselji bet out 5,000 and Keys called. To the river.
River:
Veselji now went all in for a roughly pot-sized 22,000 - in any case covering Keys, who had 15,025 left to his name. Keys tanked up for a while and eventually called all in - and a moment later he was gone.
Keys:
Veselji:
"I'm a bit gutted about that actually," Keys sighed afterwards. "I knew it was a fold."
Le fold a l'escalier. Keys is busto, and headed out into the Berlin afternoon.
Kabrheliminated
Last season's king of the EPT side events Martin Kabrhel is no more after getting very jiggy with a pair of sevens on a flop. The betting and raising went back and forth between him and his opponent and he eventually got his full 30,000 stack in - only to find his opponent holding for the straight. GG, Mr. Kabrhel.
