More Man

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Chris Moorman was facing an 850 bet on a {Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{10-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{Q-Spades} after little post flop action but surprisingly raised to 2,850 - he got a quick call from his opponent but the latter mucked when Moorman turned over {Q-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for the rivered full house.

Karr Folds The River

There was a raise to 325 from under the gun before Kyriakos Mitsopoylos three-bet from the button making it 952 to play. The small blind moved out of the way and McLean Karr peeked at his cards in the big blind. The American liked what he saw because he four-bet to 2,075. There were a few smirks around the table (suggesting the Karr raise was not a new phenomenon) before the initial raiser folded. Mitsopoylos made the call and the two of them saw a flop of {A-Spades} {9-Clubs} {3-Spades}. Karr check-called a 2,750 Mitsopoylos bet and we saw the {10-Clubs} on the turn. Once again the action went check-call and the bet size was 5,025. The last card on the river was the {2-Clubs} and when Karr checked his opponent moved all-in.

"How much is it? I am pretty sure I have to call," Said Karr.

The amount was 12.225 and Karr went deep into thought before eventually folding his hand.

"You have ace-king? You have one pair?" Asked Mitsopoylos.

"I mucked my hand didn't I?" Replied Karr.

Even Moor

Alexios Panagiotis Zervos opened to 450 and Lars Garp made the call before PokerStars qualifier Andras Kovacs reraised to 1,400 a couple of seats down. So far, pretty standard, but here is where it gets interesting; Chris Moorman flat-called the three-bet from the small blind and Zervos elected to fold wihle Garp closed the action by also making the call.

The flop was a dry-as-a-bone {K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and it was checked to Kovacs who bet 2,100. Moorman made the call and Garp quickly folded. Both players then checked the {8-Clubs} turn, Moorman then thought for about two minutes before checking the river and Kovacs followed suit.

Moorman flipped {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} - good enough for the pot, he's up to 40,000.

Militia Man

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Miltiadis Kyriakides opened to 425 from early position before quickly calling a reraise from Belgian Pieter Schollaert. Both players checked the {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop before Kyriakides fired out bets of 1,500 on the {A-Spades} turn and 4,000 on the {K-Spades} river. Schollaert called the first bet but let out a deep sigh and folded to the second, Kyriakides wasting little time in flipping {8-Spades}{5-Spades} for nothing much at all.

Karr And Mothes Both Flop A Piece

McLean Karr raised from the hijack seat and Pierre Chris Mothes three-bet to 1,400 in the big blind and Karr made the call. The flop was {Q-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} and both players checked. The turn was the {7-Clubs} and this time Mothes bet 2,075 and Karr called. The final card to grace the felt was the {3-Spades} and Mothes pot-controlled with a 5,275 check-call and took down the hand at showdown.
