Bjerkmann Makes His Presence Felt
Marcel Bjerkmann has arrived fashionably late and has taken his seat over on Table 25 and has immediately made his presence felt.
Alaa El-Chami opened to 750 from the hijack and the action folded to Bjerkmann in the small blind and he made the call. The flop came down [KLc] and both players quickly checked. The turn saw a little more aggression, the prompting Bjerkmann to check, El-Chami to bet 1,250 and then call when Bjerkmann check-raised to 3,500.
The river was the and now Bjerkmann, known as "p3r4a" when playing on PokerStars, bet 13,500 and El-Chami snap-folded.
Berggren Check-Raises Metaal Off Pot
Nils Berggren opens to 800 from the cuttoff and Govert Metaal three-bets from the button to 2,200. Sigurd Terpling looked like he was about to call but he thought better of it and folded his hand. Berggren called and it was heads-up to the flop.
Flop: - Berggren checked, Metaal fired a continuation bet of 3,100 only to see Berggren check-raise to 7,000. Metaal smelled a rat and let his hand go.

Lodden Uses Position Well
Johnny Lodden likes to play hands it position. It enables him to use his exceptional reading skills to take down a lot of pots when behind. He took down his last pot from the button, but we don't know where he was in the hand as there was no showdown.
Roger Hannaseth raised to 700 from mid position and was only called by the Team PokerStars Pro. The flop fell and Hannaseth check-called a 1,000 bet from his fellow Norwegian. Both checked the turn before Lodden bet 2,500 when checked to on the turn.

Blanner and Vandersmissen In Battle of The Blinds
The action folded all the way around to Soren Blanner in the small blind and he raised to 600. Kevin Vandersmissen rarely needs and excuse to play a hand and he made the call.
The all club flop was checked by Blanner who then called when Vandersmissen bet 625. The turn was checked by both players but when the landed on the river and Blanner checked, Vandersmissen took a stab at the pot and bet 1,550. Blanner was having none of it and called.

Raising for Information?
Theo Jorgensen must've lost some chips since we last laid eyes on him, but he just took down a pot to get back into profit on the day. He was heads-up to a flop with Jens Haenel and he bet 1,500 when the action was checked to him. Haenel went for the old check-raise maneuver, up to 3,500.
The Danish Team PokerStars Pro was checked to again on the turn and he responded by betting 4,000. Haenel fiddled with his chips for a while and then folded.

Jose Latorre Learns Perfect Strategy To Defend Against Tureniec
Have you ever wondered how to defend your blinds effectively against the reigning EPT Copenhagen champion Michael Tureniec? Jose Latorre seems to have perfected the perfect strategy.
Tureniec opened to 700 on the button and Latorre was in the small blind. He checked his card and moved all in for 13,950. Tureniec did not want to pay this amount and he mucked his hand.
