Williams > Wydrowski

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Marcin Wydrowski and Team PokerStars Pro David Williams have just joined the field. The two tangled in a blind-for-blind pot with Wydrowski in the small blind and Williams in the big.

Wydrowski led out for 300 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, Williams called, and the turn brought a fourth heart — the {4-Hearts}, to be precise. Wydrowski led again - this time for 425 - and Williams made the call.

The {q-Diamonds} completed the board, and Wydrowski fired a third and final bullet worth 750. Williams tank-called, and Wydrowski showed {9-Spades}{3-Spades} for air. Williams ripped over {q-Hearts}{10-Spades} for a queen-high flush, and took down the pot.

Minieri Hasn't Changed

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

The flop read {4-Hearts}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Team PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri bet 600 from the small blind and Damien Langlois made the call.

On the turn the {6-Diamonds} hit and Minier fired out 1,300. Langlois made the call and the river brought the {4-Clubs} and the Italian pro quickly threw out 6,000. Langlois tanked for quite some time but opted to fold. Minieri is back up to 24,000 chips and climbing back up after a slow start.

Lam Struggling

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

Four players took a flop of {3-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}, including Steven Warburton and Man Hei Lam. The action checked to Warburton, who fired 1,250, and Lam was the only player to call.

The turn was the {2-Clubs}, both players knuckled, and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Warburton led for 2,450, and Lam tank-called. Warburton turned over {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for the nut-flush, and Lam mucked his hand.

Large Stack, New Stack

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

We've just noticed that Guy Bachar is sitting on a very large stack of 140,000 chips. He doesn't have a very easy road in front of him however - Vanessa Rossu and Ravi Raghavan are sitting on his direct right, while Jens Kyllönen has just taken a seat on the other end of the table.

Brammer Busto

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

It's a short day for Chris Brammer. After a raise and a three-bet from UTG+1, Brammer cold-called behind with pocket sixes, proceeding to get his chips in on a 9-8-6 flop. What didn't work for Brammer was that the three-bettor was holding T-7 suited for a flopped straight.

A slightly perplexed Brammer hit the rail.

Ike Haxton
Ike Haxton

Team PokerStars Pro Dario Minieri is well known for his hyper agressive playing style and PokerStars Team Online Isaac Haxton just showed that he was very much aware of that.

The board read {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Spades} when we saw Haxton facing a shove from Minieri who moved in for 20,100 chips. There was about 15,000 in the pot already and it took Haxton quite some time to figure it out. Eventually he made the call and Minieri tabled {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}. Haxton turned over {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and busted the Italian pro.

"Very good call," Minieri said as he left the table and saw his chips get pushed over to Haxton.
