EPT Prague Main Event Day 1a | 2007 EPT - Prague

Welcome to the beautiful city of Prague in the Czech Republic. This is the first time the EPT has stopped in this country; in fact, it is the first major poker tournament to be held here.

We are in the Hilton hotel and the conference centre has been turned into a huge poker room with 25 tournament tables and 15 cash tables. We are expecting over 400 players to compete in this €5000-entry tournament.

Thomas Kremser, who recently won a lifetime achievement award at the European Poker Awards, has just announced "Shuffle up and deal" and play is underway. Today the players will be playing eight one-hour levels.
