Peter Jepsen is Eliminated!

Peter Jepsen
Peter Jepsen
The board reads {Q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and three players are in the pot. There is 3,500 in the middle by the time the river is reached.

Peter Jepsen is first to speak and bets out 3,000. Peter Roche calls and then Anthony Lellouche raises it another 22,000!

Peter Jepsen goes into the tank, he asks for the pot to be spread, counts and recounts his stack, takes off his hat and finally pushes his 13,000 stack into the middle.

Peter Roche is disgusted, "If you don't call, I call," and he mucks. He should thank Jepsen, as Lellouche flips up {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} (the same hand exactly that Roche doubled through Hoivold with a short time ago). Jepsen slams the table and mucks.

Double Up for Roche!

Peter Roche
Peter Roche
A player in early position raises it up to 800 preflop. Peter Roche calls on the button, Anthony Lellouche calls from the small blind, and big blind Andreas Hoivold comes along for the ride too.

The flop is {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Clubs} and it is checked around to Peter, who bets 2,000. Lellouche folds, but Hoivold raises to 5,500. The original raiser gets out of the way and after a short dwell Peter moves all in for 3,100 more.

Hoivold calls and shows {J-Spades}{Q-Spades} and is up against Peter's {3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}. The turn and river blank out and Peter wins a 20,400-chip pot.

Mika Paasonen Knocks Out a Player

With blinds 150-300 Paasonen raised to 900 from the cut-off seat and was called by a player on the button.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Paasonen bet out 1400. His opponent raised to 4000 and Paasonen prompty plonked a fist full of thousands over the betting line. The unknown player then called for his last 5500.

{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} for Paasonen.
{J-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for his opponent who actually has a 40% chance of winning the hand despite being up against a set.

Turn and river brought no outdraw and the professional from Finland who finished fourth in EPT Barcelona now has over 30,000.

Age Spets Doubles Up!

Age Spets
Age Spets
The colorful Norwegian reraised all-in pre-flop with {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and found a pot committed caller with {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}.

As the {9-Diamonds} came in the Winder Age stoop up and put on his coat, then swiftly took it off and sat back down again as he turned the {7-Clubs}.

Spets however is still nursing quite a short stack.
