Blanco still in the lead

Strangely, Cristiano Blanco has held the chip lead for almost the entire day so far. This is despite falling back slightly to around 40,000.

His lead is unlikely to last much longer however as there are an endless number of stacks between 20,000 and 30,000.

Steve "All-in Stevie" Devlin is on 30,000
Alberto Spigolon, who knocked out Annette Obrestad, is on 28,000
Mika Paasonen has 20,000+
Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier has 21,000
Patrik Schulz has 25,000

Nicky Power doubles up

Nicky Power
Nicky Power
He got it all in on a ten-high flop with two clubs with {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} versus a player with {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}. He caught an Ace on the turn meaning he only needed to avoid the {J-Spades} on the river and the Irishman is now back up to 11,000.

Peter Jepsen Gets Check-minraised

Peter Jepsen
Peter Jepsen
EPT Warsaw winner Peter Jepsen called a 550 raise pre-flop and the two players saw a flop of {9-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. His opponent check-called a 1,000 bet.
The turn was {Q-Clubs} and this time his opponent check-raised his 2,000 bet to 4,000. Peter looked perplexed at the min-raise, and after taking an inventory of his 5,000-chip stack decided folding was the best option.

Annette Obrestad Busted

Annette Obrestad
Annette Obrestad
In a pot worth over 30,000, on-line prodigy Annette Obrestad has been taken out in an unusual hand. The winner of the pot has since taken a break from the table so we have yet to learn his name.

He limped in from mid position and was promptly raised to 800 by Steve Devlin. Obrestad re-raised to 2800 and was called by the limper. Devlin folded.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and both players checked.

The turn was {J-Clubs}. The unknown player checked again and Obrestad bet 3750, which was called.

The river card was {8-Hearts}. Checked to Obrestad again who moved all in for around 10,000 and she was called by a very well disguised pocket pair of Kings.
