After three-betting Mercier out of the small blind, Firsau three-bet over an open from Steve O'Dwyer and a call from Mercier. O'Dwyer and Mercier both folded, and Firsau raked in the pot.
Mercier and Firsau battled again an orbit later, when Mercier opened to 48,000 from the cutoff and Firsau called on the button. The two checked on a flop of
