Carl Shaw started Day 2 as chip leader and has progressed all the way to the last two tables, currently sitting in sixth place. Benny Glaser, who won the €5,000 High Roller earlier in the series, is also still in contention, as are Andy Black and other familiar faces.

Eugeniu Barbaros is the current chip leader with 9,750,000. He's followed by Panagiotis Mavritsakis who has 6,375,000, and in third place is Tom Waters with 6,300,000.

Murphy Doubles Up With Minutes Remaining

Level 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante
Thomas Murphy
Thomas Murphy

David Docherty raised and Thomas Murphy moved all in for around 1,300,000. Docherty made the call and players flipped their cards, with Docherty the player at risk.

David Docherty: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Thomas Murphy: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{j-Hearts}. Both players hit two pairs, Murphy winning the pot with his pair of aces and pair of queens to give him the double with just a few minutes remaining in the tournament.

Glaser Doubles with Rockets in Final Stretch

Level 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Thomas Murphy opened the action from under the gun with a minimum raise to 320,000. It folded to Benny Glaser in the small blind, who moved his 1,825,000 stack in the middle. Murphy got an exact count before he put in the call, putting Glaser at risk.

Benny Glaser: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Thomas Murphy: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Glaser found the aces at a crucial time, and he faded the turned gutshot on the {5-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts} runout. He doubled up with only a few more hands left in the day, while Murphy was left short-stacked.

Glaser Loses Pot to Watts

Level 32 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Steve Watts raised under the gun to 350,000 and was called by Benny Glaser in the big blind.

The flop came {j-Spades}{5-Spades}{6-Spades}. Glaser checked and Watts bet 300,000, which Glaser called. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and both players checked.

On the {q-Clubs}, Glaser led for 400,000 and Watts made the call. Glaser showed {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for a bluff and Watts showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} for a set of queens to scoop the pot.

That put a huge dent in Glaser's stack, but his decline wouldn't last long...

Ojala Doubles Just Before Final Level

Level 31 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Over at the featured table, Henri Ojala pushed his final 1,535,000 chips in the middle from middle position after an under the gun raise from Jamie Wynne.

The action folded back to Wynne, who asked for a count and called as soon as he received the correct number. The cards went face-up and a classic flip was revealed.

Henri Ojala: {a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}
Jamie Wynne: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

With Ojala at risk, the flop came {10-Clubs}{a-Spades}{6-Diamonds}. Flopping a pair, Ojala sprung in the lead. The turn {q-Spades} and river {7-Clubs} did not improve Wynne's hand, who had to hand some chips over to the side of Ojala
