Alan Milesky Eliminated in 11th Place ($14,655)

Jesus Bertoli came in raising from middle position, making it 11,500 to play. Action folded to the small blind, where Alan Milesky made the call with his short stack.

Heads up then, the flop revealed {6-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {5-Clubs}. With just over 20,000 chips left, Milesky moved all in and was quickly called by Bertoli.

Showdown:
Bertoli: {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}
Milesky: {4-Hearts} {4-Spades}

The turn was the {K-Diamonds} and another blank, the {6-Spades}, fell on the turn, spelling the end for Milesky. The young American battled hard today on the short stack, holding on to his few chips while heaps of players were eliminated around him. For his efforts over the past two days, he will collect $14,655 in cash.

Dinner Reservations

The tournament staff has just informed the players the the dinner break will take place at the conclusion of this level, which will come in just under twenty minutes.

Rasmussen Finds His Flop

Claus Rasmussen opened with a cutoff raise to 11,000. Joel Micka gave him action from the small blind, and it was heads up to the flop.

The dealer spread the first three community cards: {8-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds}. Micka checked, allowing Rasmussen to continue out with 18,000 chips. "How much do you have left?" asked Micka.

After roughly counting his chips, Rasmussen responded, "About seventy." With that, Micka check-raised to a total of 60,000, prompting a quick, "All in," from Rasmussen. Micka seemed to know he was beat as he shrugged and put in the additional 40,000 or so for the call.

Showdown:
Rasmussen: {8-Clubs} {10-Clubs}
Micka: {K-Spades} {10-Spades}

Looking good for a double up, Rasmussen did indeed dodge Micka's outs as the {2-Hearts} and {Q-Clubs} filled out the board. With that win, Claus Rasmussen has doubled his way up over 200,000, surpassing his opponent in the process.

Shawn Patrick Ryan Eliminated in 12th Place ($14,655)

Shawn Patrick Ryan has been among the tightest players in the room today, as chips have been flying around his tables. Returning from break, Ryan was first in from the button, and he looked down at {A-?} {3-?}. Two seats over, Ryan Fee re-raised from the big blind, and Ryan quickly announced, "All in." Before the words were even out of his mouth, Fee called, having his man covered.

Showdown:
Ryan: {A-?} {3-?}
Fee: {A-?} {K-?}

It was a case of bad timing for the rocky Shawn Patrick Ryan, and he was done in by a board full of blanks. Failing to improve, he is relegated to the rail in 12th place, earning a little pay bump up to nearly $15,000.

Carter Gill Eliminated in 14th Place ($12,213)

We just had a monstrous three-way all in over at Table 3. All of the chips of Carter Gill, Joel Micka, and Andrew Chen were committed to the pot preflop, with Micka having both men well covered.

Showdown:
Gill: {A-Diamonds} {K-Spades}
Micka: {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}
Chen: {Q-Clubs} {Q-Spades}

As a crowd of media and spectators gathered around the table, the dealer ran out the board: {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {3-Diamonds}. Neither of the players holding big slick could find any of their outs, and Andrew Chen earns a near-triple up. He began the hand with right around 90,000, and he now sits with more than 250,000!

It wasn't a full triple up, as Chen had Carter Gill slightly covered. Gill has become a fixture on the international tournament circuit, and his performance here this week proves his prowess even further. Gill was down to just 2,800 chips early on Day 1, with the blinds at 150-300. He rallied hard to close the day though, finishing with nearly 70,000! He was a bit up and down today as well, but he notches another deep finish, taking home more than $12,000 for his work.

Tark Abboud Eliminated in 15th Place ($12,213)

Tark Abboud got things started with a raise to 6,200 from the cutoff seat. Carter Gill folded the button, but both Joel Micka and Michael Collins called from the blinds.

The three-way flop came down {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs} {3-Hearts}. The blinds checked it over to the raiser, and Abboud continued out with 10,500 chips. "I raise," said Micka quietly, without moving. After a momentary pause, he reached for 23,000 chips and flipped them into the pot. Collins folded, and action was back on Abboud. He thought for just a minute before moving all in, and Micka instantly called him.

Showdown:
Micka: {3-Spades} {3-Hearts}
Abboud: {10-Diamonds} {J-Spades}

Caught with his hand in the proverbial cookie jar, Abboud was looking for running straight cards to stay alive. The {9-Hearts} on the turn sealed his fate, leaving him drawing dead to the {2-Diamonds} on the river. He ships close to 100,000 chips over to Joel Micka, who is now the commanding chip leader.
