48 players in the LAPT Peru Main Event are now in the money. Their jubilation comes at the expense of Roberto Brenes. He three-bet to 50,000 with {j-Spades}{9-Spades} after Joao Neto opened to 10,000. Neto moved in, forcing Brenes to put his last 40,000 into the pot. Neto showed down pocket jacks. The flop came with two spades, {k-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Spades}, and the turn {9-Diamonds} paired Brenes' nine. The river, however, was the blank {2-Diamonds} to end Brenes' tournament.

"VAMO!" shouted Neto. He grabbed the Brazilian flag off of Andre Akkari's chair, waved it, and added, "Brasil!"

"Jesus, a guy just bubbled," said the still steaming Derek Lerner. "This isn't the World Cup."
