Alcides Tovar Eliminated in 10th Place ($10,840)

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

The short stacks at the secondary table have been doing their best to claw their way into the final table. It took a cooler to knock one of them out.

Action folded to Kermal Ferri in the smll blind. He completed, bringing the action to big blind Alcides Tovar. Tovar stuck his whole stack of about 150,000 into the middle with {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}. It was horrible timing; Ferri had snuck into the pot with {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}. Aces held on a board of {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{6-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}.

The final nine are now assembling at the feature table. We'll have the re-draw and fresh counts in a few moments. The plan is to play off one more player to reach the official eight-handed final table, at which time Day 3 will conclude.
