Eastgate Survives Again

Isaac Haxton had worn Peter Eastgate down again. And again Eastgate found a double up. Peter's {7-Diamonds} {7-Clubs} were racing Ike's {K-Spades} {9-Hearts}. The {5-Spades} {4-Spades} {3-Diamonds} flop and {J-Spades} gave Haxton plenty of outs on the river, but he couldn't find any of them with the {Q-Clubs} on the river. Now Haxton is the shorter of the two with 79,000 to Eastgate's 96,000.

No Mercy

After Chris Moneymaker raised and then Jason Mercier reraised all in. Moneymaker made the call. Moneymaker held the best of it with two red jacks and Mercier held the {A-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

The flop came down {J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and all but closed the door on Mercier. The turn was the {K-Clubs} and that was it. The river completed the board with the {9-Clubs} and officially ended things. Mercier was sent home, earning only one bounty for his time spent in the High Roller Bounty Shootout.

Table Update

One table is finished now that Joe Cassidy eliminated Justin Bonomo.

Isaac Haxton and Peter Eastgate are heads up, as are Lee Markholt and Brett Richey.

The feature table is stuck at four people, with Chris Moneymaker, Jason Mercier, Hasan Habib, and Ashton Griffin still battling each other.

Bonomo Jinxes Haxton?

Peter Eastgate was all in against Isaac Haxton, who would win his table and move on to the final if he could eliminate Peter. And things looked good for Ike, who had {K-Spades} {Q-Clubs} against Eastgate's {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. But Ike's rail wasn't so sure. "Diamonds versus Ike? That's a classic race," said Scott Seiver. Justin Bonomo, who had just joined Haxton's cheering section after busting from his table, agreed.

The flop proved them right: {J-Spades} {4-Clubs} {2-Hearts}. The {K-Hearts} on the turn didn't change anything, nor did the {8-Diamonds} on the river. "Classic ZeeJ jinx," said Eric Froelich. The two are close to even now. Haxton has 95,000, and Eastgate is up to 82,000.

OMGoner

Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond was all in with two red sevens against Brett Richey who called with the {A-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The board ran out {10-Spades}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{A-Diamonds} and that was all she wrote for Galfond.

Richey is now heads up with Lee Markholt having claimed his first bounty of the tournament. He also has a big chip lead with about 140,000 to 35,000.

Cassidy Wins

Joe Cassidy and Justin Bonomo found all of the chips in the middle in a race situation. Bonomo held pocket threes -- {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} -- to Cassidy's {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}.

Bonomo was all in for 53,000 and then all out after the board ran out {Q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Cassidy's flush put him at the final table and sent Bonomo packing.
