Action folded to Tom Marchese in the cutoff and he raised to 3,500. Only the big blind called to the flop. After a check, Marchese bet 3,000 and once again the big blind called.
Both players then checked the turn and the hit the river. This time the big blind bet 7,000 and Marchese insta-mucked, leaving himself with around 90,000.
A player under the gun opened to 3,500, and the action passed around to Jon Aguiar in the small blind. He looked down at and moved all in for 23,900 total. When it came back to the raiser, he eventually made the call, then winced as he saw that his was in a bad way.
The board ran out safe for the overpair, coming to earn Aguiar the double up. He's right at 51,000 now.
Phil "The Unabomber" Laak recently put in a raise from late position only to have the button move all in for about 14,000 total. Action folded back to Laak and he reluctantly made the call.

Laak was in bade shape and couldn't catch as the board ran out . However, it was just a small hit to his stack and he is still healthy with 134,000.
We saw Joe Cada walking out the door about a minute before the break, but we weren't sure if he busted or was just beating the rush to the men's room. Now we know.
Cada three-bet shoved his ace-king into an opponent's pocket jacks, and he took a big lead after the flop. The turn and river made Broadway for the jacks, however, sending Cada out into the streets of Bell Gardens.
We happened to stumble upon a very entertaining hand. With about 8,000 in the pot and a flop of , "Minneapolis" Jim Meehan bet 2,800 and Justin "Boosted J" Smith called behind. The dealer burned and turned the and Meehan bet 13,800, leaving himself 26,900 behind.
"If you beat me this hand, sonny boy, I'll give you my crocodile hat," Meehan offered Smith, although it didn't appear he knew he was up against an established pro. After about 90 seconds Smith moved all in for a total of 41,000.
Meehan was not thrilled and tanked. He stood up from his seat, sat back down, and stood up again. "I find that very hard to believe young man," he said. There was some more silence as he pulled out a cigarette and inserted it into his mouth. Meehan was about to launch into a story when the player in Seat 6 called a clock. Meehan wanted to know who the culprit was as the floor began the countdown. With eight seconds left, Meehan mucked. He did not give Smith, who is up to 60,000, the coveted crocodile hat.
Gavin Griffin opened with a raise to 2,700 from the cutoff seat, and Nick Grippo three-bet to 7,200 next door. In the small blind, Thayer Rasmussen peeked down at and four-bet to 15,200 straight. Griffin folded, but Grippo reraised to 27,200. Rasmussen six-bet shoved for about 140,000 total, and the call came instantly as Grippo turned up his .
The flop was no good for Rasmussen, and the turn and river sent him out the double doors.
For Grippo, that pot gives him a big chip lead again, up over 400,000 and well clear of the pack for now.
Bryn Kenney raised to 3,000 from the cutoff seat before it was Jason Mercier's turn to act. Mercier represents Team PokerStars Pro USA. He three-bet Kenney to 7,600 from the button. Josh Kay was in the small blind and took some time before four-betting to 16,600. Eric "Sheets" Haber thought about it in the big blind for a brief moment and then folded. Kenney followed right behind him into the muck, but Mercier didn't go away so easily. He made the call to bring him and Kay to the flop.
The first three community cards came down . Kay was first to act and fired 16,600, the same amount he four-bet to preflop. Mercier took his time and made the call.
The turn card added the to the board, completing a possible flush draw. Kay moved all in, somewhat fumbling his chips together as he pushed them over the line. He was all in for approximately 53,000 and Mercier tanked. He thought for about a minute and a half before flicking his cards into the muck. Kay was awarded the pot while Mercier was left with 112,000 in chips.
