Randy Lew doubles.
Randy Lew doubles.

On the second-to-last hand before dinner break, Randy "nanonoko" Lew was all in and at risk against Leonid Bilokur. Lew had him dominated.

Showdown
Lew: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Bilokur: {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The {9-Hearts} was the window card, but the {k-Spades} followed it alongside with the {3-Clubs}. The turn and river came {8-Clubs}, {2-Spades} respectively, and Lew doubled to 365,000 chips.

Bill Perkins Eliminated in 15th Place ($58,020)

Bill Perkins - 15th Place
Bill Perkins - 15th Place

From under the gun, Terje Augdal raised to 19,000. Action folded all the way around the table to Bill Perkins in the big blind and he reraised to an unknown amount. Augdal moved all in and Perkins snap-called.

"You have a hand?" asked Augdal to Perkins.

"Yes," responded Perkins before tabling the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}. Augdal held a worse pair with the {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The flop came down {6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and everything was going just as planned for Perkins so far. The higher powers of the poker gods had other things in mind after the {10-Spades} landed on the turn to put Augdal in front. From there, the river completed the board with the {Q-Clubs} and it was all over.

Augdal had Perkins well covered and it was the end of the line for Perkins. He was eliminated in 15th place for the first cash of his career and collected $58,020.

"It was fun," said Perkins with a cheery smile on his face. He then collected his belongings, wished the table luck and moved to the payout desk.

Perkins Can't Bluff Metaal

Govert Metaal
Govert Metaal

From under the gun, Bill Perkins raised to 19,000. Govert Metaal made the call from the cutoff seat and the two took a flop of {Q-Spades}{8-Spades}{4-Spades}. Perkins checked and then called after Metaal fired 20,000.

The {7-Spades} added a fourth spade to the board on the turn. Perkins checked and Metaal checked behind, allowing for a free river card.

The {7-Hearts} paired the board on the river. Perkins bet 42,000 and it didn't take long at all for Metaal to call.

Perkins laughed as he turned over the {4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for sevens and fours. Metaal tabled the {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs} for queens and sevens to win the pot.

Fourth street was the {3-Clubs} and Perkins fired again, this time for 60,000. After a few moments, Haxton announced that he was all in. His all-in bet was worth 231,000 and Perkins took a minute or so. Eventually, he gave it up and Haxton won the pot.

Elio Fox Eliminated in 16th Place ($58,020)

Elio Fox - 16th Place
Elio Fox - 16th Place

Elio Fox opened to 16,000 in late position, and Terje Augdal defended his big blind. The flop fell {6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Spades}, and Augdal led for 20,000. Fox raised to 42,000, and Augdal called.

The turn was the {4-Spades}, and Augdal led again - this time for 65,000. Fox tanked for a bit before moving all in for 174,000, and Augdal called.

Are you ready for one of the more unique showdowns of all time?

Showdown
Fox: {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Augdal: {7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

If Fox could fade a three, five, seven, or eight, he would double with jack-high. The river was the {3-Diamonds} however, and Fox was eliminated from the tournament.

The entire table was quite perplexed after the hand, especially Kunimaro Kojo and Bill Perkins. Kojo shot out of his seat when the cards were tabled, and Perkins couldn't stop saying, "What?"
