Damm the River

Grant Levy opened the pot with a raise to 24,000 from the button. Kenneth Damm called from the small blind as did Ali Khalil in the big. All three players checked the {10-Hearts}

Damm passed the first action to Khalil who led out with a 60,000 bet. Levy then kicked it up to 200,000 and when the action returned to Damm, he moved all in. Khalil folded and Levy made the call:

Sitting with the mortal nuts, Damm simply needed to dodge a jack or a nine to rake the pot, but the river delivered the {9-Clubs}

giving Levy the same book and the pot was chopped.

Khalil told the table that he folded a nine, meaning the nine on the river was of the case variety.
