Savage shoved the last of his tiny stack with {Q-Diamonds}

and Angelo Prifti called from the big blind with {A-Hearts}

.

The

flop looked set to send Savage to the rail, but he paired up on the {10-Diamonds}

turn to save himself. The {8-Hearts}

hit the river.

It looks to only be a momentary reprieve as he still horribly short-stacked.

In the hand Andrew Jeffreys opened to 20,000 from the button and the short-stacked Nguyen pushed all in. Jeffreys called the extra chips and tabled {Q-Clubs}

to go up against Nguyen's {A-Diamonds}

Jeffreys flopped the flush draw on the {5-Clubs}

flop and completed it on the {2-Clubs}

turn. The river was the {4-Clubs}

Nguyen leaves with $3,800 for his sixth place finish, while Jeffreys chips up to 180,000.

Nguyen Flushed Away

Preflop, Bruce Nguyen opened to 20,000 from the cutoff with Angelo Prifti calling from the big blind.

On the {Q-Clubs}

flop, Prifti shoved for 99,000. Nguyen tanked for a good while before making the call with {A-Clubs}

. He was in front but would have to survive Prifti's {7-Clubs}

flush draw.

It wasn't to be. The {9-Clubs}

spiked on the turn, and although Nguyen had the re-draw to the flush on the river, he wasn't able to hit. The {7-Spades}

harmlessly completed the board.

Prifti moves up to about 240,000. Nguyen is down to just 25,000.
