Bruce Nguyen Straightens Out The Chip Leader

In a remarkably similar hand to the one Adgee played against him, William Skountzos has called against a straight.

Skountzos limped in from the small blind with Bruce Nguyen checking his option. The flop came {8-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and both players checked it and the turn {7-Hearts}.

The river {6-Spades} hit and Skountzos checked. Nguyen bet a tiny 10,500 which Skountzos called, only to see Nguyen table {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Skountzos showed {A-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Angelo Prifti has doubled back after the hit he took against William Skountzos.

Prifti moved his 42,000 chips in and Nick Haidaris made the call.

Prifti rolled over {10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} while Hadaris had {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}.

Hardaris hit the {Q-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop but it also left Prifti with an open ender. He hit that straight on the turn {A-Hearts}. The river {3-Spades} completed the board.

There is nothing like a break to stimulate a bit of action.

Preflop, William Skountzos opened to 22,000 with Angelo Prifti calling from the big blind.

The flop came {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Prifti checked to Skountzos who bet out 40,000. Prifti made the call.

The turn came the {k-Diamonds} and Prifti check-called a 55,000 chip bet from Skountzos.

The river {5-Diamonds} saw Prifti again check and Skountzos move all in. This time Prifti took some time to make the decision before folding. Skountzos opened {A-Hearts}{k-Clubs} for a full house.

The table was amazed as Prifti had left himself with just 49,000. Skountzos moves over 400,000.

Ben Savage has been left with just 33,500 after taking a suck out against Bruce Nguyen.

Preflop, Savage limped in with {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} from the under the gun and it folded to the blinds who both opted to take the flop.

The flop came {7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades} and William Skountzos led 20,000 from the small blind. Bruce Nguyen moved all in for 55,000. Action was then on Savage who flat called, before Skountzos folded.

Nguyen tabled {9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for top pair, but promptly improved to two pair on the {10-Spades} turn. The river couldn't bring the re-suck for Savage, bricking the {2-Spades}.

Nguyen rolls up to 140,000 as he starts to recover. Savage has just 33,500.

Jeffreys Straightens Out The Chip Leader

Preflop, Andrew Jeffreys limped in from the small blind and William Skountzos checked his option.

Both players checked the {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{8-Hearts} flop and {q-Diamonds} turn. On the {2-Spades} river Skountzos checked out of turn.

"You don't want this?" asked Adgee. "Ok fifteen thousand," he added as he tossed out three yellow chips.

Skountzos shaped to muck twice, each time bringing his cards back to him.

"Come on mate you didn't want it, just fold!" pleaded Jeffreys.

This convinced Skountzos to make the call, only to see Jeffreys table his {J-Hearts}{10-Hearts} straight. Skountzos instantly mucked.
