Action was on the turn as the player on the button bet 15,000. Michael Lerner jammed all in from the cutoff and was called.
Lerner had the against the . The river was the and Lerner gathered in a nice double up.
Tablemate David Luong, who had the big stack at the table told the tale of an earlier hand in the day that Lerner was involved in.
An early position player raised to 1,100 when the blinds were at 300/500. Luong called in middle position. The button raised to 6,000. Lerner was in the small blind and was intending to fold, starting to slide his cards forward but while switching the chips for the small blind and he accidentally tossed in three 5,000 chips and the dealer announced a raise to 15,000. The first two players folded and the button jammed for just over 20,000 which Lerner was forced to call for the small amount more.
Lerner had the off suit vs the , but the board would do the kings dirty as it ran out to give Lerner a straight and bust the player with kings.
