Misstep Costs Bekavac Piles, Trost Collects

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Craig Trost
Craig Trost

Dean Swailes opened to 65,000 from early position and Dan Bekavac made the call on the button. Craig Trost three-bet from the big blind to 270,000.

Swailes thought for a while but decided to let it go. Bekavac back-raised all in for about 920,000 effective, which Trost snap-called.

Craig Trost: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Dan Bekavac: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Trost was in great shape to get the huge double on the {j-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. The {8-Hearts} hit the turn, because there's always a sweat. The river fell the {j-Clubs} to complete the board, give Trost the big double, and cost Bekavac a large portion of his stack.

Trost Wins Another Big One, Rides Rockets to the Top

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Craig Trost
Craig Trost

Craig Trost opened to 50,000 and picked up two callers, Dean Swailes on his left and the player in the big blind.

The flop came out {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts}. Trost continued for 80,000 and was immediately raised to 280,000 by Swailes. The big blind got out of the way, but Trost made the call.

On the {7-Diamonds} turn, Trost checked to the raiser, and Swailed moved all in for just over 500,000.

"I don't think I can fold these," said Trost, who put in the call after a bit of thought.

Dean Swailes: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Craig Trost: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Trost had Swailes drawing to clubs, but they didn't come on the {3-Diamonds} river to ship another big pot Trost's way. Swailes started the day with only 97,000 and made a deep run into the money.
