Day 1c Completed
Seeing an impressive 1,153 entrants, Flight 1c came to an end with just 144 after the dust settled. They will return on Wednesday June 15th where 225 will receive a piece of the $2,078,610 prize pool, with a minimum payout of $2.079 for their efforts. All eyes, however, will be on the massive first place prize of $294,327 as well as the title for The Mid States Poker Tour $1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event At Venetian Las Vegas.
At the higher end of the chip counts was WSOP bracelet winner Roberly Felicio who ended his day with 540,000 in chips. Felicio jostled with a table full of capable players, all of whom had a lot of chips, but through some fortunate timing and good plays, was able to rise above the rest towards the top of the counts. Navigating large fields is nothing new for Felicio, who’s bracelet win came in the WSOP 2018 $565 Colossus for $1,000,000 in a field of 13,070. Felicio looks to add one more trophy to his resume, in the form of an MSPT title.
Also bagging at the end of the day was Matt Morfitt with 405,000. Morfitt has come close to a victory before, with his biggest live cash being $115,053 for his runner-up finish at MSPT Minnesota 2021. With this positioning, he has a chance to top his best live score and add his list to the names of MSPT champions.
Winner of that MSPT Minnesota 2021 Kyna England also found her way to bagging 140,000 at the end of the night. Other players that found their way to bags at the end of the night included Ronnie Bardah (302,000), Dennis Stevermer (257,000), Christina Gollins (195,000), Camille Brown (171,000) and Nicholas Marchington (168,000). Players who’s final flight run did not result in bagging included Joey Weissman, Greg Himmelbrand, Brian Altman, Manig Loeser, and Jesse Lonis.
Despite the players playing a full 15 levels, because the clock was stopped on level 13 with 18:35 remaining in flight 1a, the players in this flight will be going back to that level. Day 2 will begin at 11 a.m., continue with 40-minute levels and 15-minute breaks in between there as well as a 60-minute dinner break occurring after nine levels Stay tuned to PokerNews for all updates regarding the MSPT.

After just under four hours on Friday, it was Shea Quintin who took down the Mid-States Poker Tour (MSPT) $1,600 Main Event at Venetian Las Vegas for $324,946 and his first MSPT title.
“I feel incredible,” the 26-year old said. “My previous best score was a little bit more than $28,000 and this is a little more than that.”
It was Quintin’s first trip out to Las Vegas as he lives in Florida and has only played a few tournaments out here. He was joined on the rail by his father and best friend who embraced him joyously as he won.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better rail," said Quintin, who bested a 1,644-entry field.

A player raised to 12,000 on the button and in the small blind, Rafael Reis three-bet to 42,000 which folded out the big blind and was called by the button.
The flop came out and Reis continued for 33,000 which sent his opponent into the tank. After some time he tossed his hand into the muck, giving Reis the pot and pushing his stack over the 200,000 chip mark.
