Richey Sends One Packing

We caught up with the action to see Bretty Richey facing an all in of an opponent for around 4,000. The board read {2-Spades}{K-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Richey mulled over his decision.

Eventually Richey announced a call and showed {K-Spades}{3-Spades} for trip kings. Richey's opponent showed {A-Hearts}{8-Spades} and was behind. The {3-Diamonds} rivered and Richey was able to finish the hand with a full house. By eliminating this player, Richey has boosted his stack to about 20,500.

Barch Busted

After a player opened for 450, we found Tex Barch three-bet the action to an unknown amount. The original raiser called and the two were heads up to a flop of {3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{7-Hearts}.

Barch's opponent checked and Barch moved all in for roughly his last 6,000 in chips. Barch's opponent snapped with {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts} and Barch found that his {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} were behind.

The board finished with the {k-Spades} and the {9-Diamonds} and Barch was forced to have an abrupt end to both his massage and his tournament life.

Ho Gets Bet Out

Action folded around to Maria Ho who made it 550 to go from the cutoff. The player on the button opted to three-bet the action to 1,400 and both of the blinds got out of the way.

It was back on Ho and after shuffling her chips for about thirty seconds, she moved out a four-bet to 3,150. Her opponent, however, would not be swayed by this bet. He made it 6,200 to go and suddenly the pressure was put back on Ho. Eventually she relented and folded her hand, awarding the chips to her opponent. She's currently sitting on about 28,500 in chips.

Clinkscales Falls

A middle position player opened to 800 and received two callers before it folded around to Rex Clinkscales in the small blind. Clinkscales moved all in for his last 3,825 and the original raiser called.

The other two players folded and Clinkscales tabled {6-Spades}{6-Clubs} only to find that he was behind his opponent's {Q-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. Clinkscales found no help on the board and his opponent's ladies in the hole were able to send him to the rail.

Ho Folds Turn

After much action preflop, we caught up to find one player all in for his last 7,875. Maria Ho called this all in as did a player in the cutoff.

The flop came down {j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Ho checked. Her opponent in the cutoff checked as well and the {K-Spades} turned. Ho checked a second time and her opponent moved all in for his last 2,775. Ho looked at her cards several times before folding them and the other two hands were exposed:

Cutoff: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}
All In: {A-Spades}{k-Hearts}

The river was of no help to the all in player and he was sent to the rail as a victim of his opponent's turned Broadway straight. This loss brings Maria Ho's stack down to about 34,000 in chips.
