Charles La Boissonniere just took down the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Playground1000 $1 milllion guarantee event for $200,000 after steamrolling the final table. He defeated Garrett Dansereau in a quick heads-up match after dominating the field in the final stretch.

La Boissonniere has just taken his seat here today and looks to take down two massive guarantee events in one series. His win just a couple of days ago was his first, and he is now sporting his newly-acquired partypoker headphones and is looking like he's back in the zone.

A Massage in Exchange for Information? Sign Joe Tehan Up!

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Joe Tehan
Joe Tehan

We got to Table 61 as everyone was tossing Joe Tehan some cash as he got ready for a massage.

Marc Etienne Mclaughlin explained that they were all paying for his massage in exchange for him showing his cards whenever he won a pot. "I've been doing this for years" said Tehan.

Tehan is a pro from Las Vegas and has been playing poker for many years. His total live recorded earnings amount to over $4.3 million with his largest cash totaling just over $1 million. Tehan's big score came in the World Poker Tour Championship event in Las Vegas in 2006 at Mandalay Bay where he defeated the likes of Brad Booth and Tom Koral on route to the title.

The pro has yet to secure a WSOP gold bracelet but has had some close calls with five final table appearances, including a runner-up finish in the 2014 $ 1,500 Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo where he fell to Calvin Anderson.

Tehan has eight career wins with 119 total cashes. Of those, 117 are from within the United States and just two in Canada in Niagara Falls and right here in Montreal after cashing the $1,100 Playground1000 $1 million guarantee just last week. The Las Vegas pro is certainly a force on the felt, so look for him to hunt for several more deep runs on Canadian soil.

John Helou raised to 15,000 from under the gun and Chance Kornuth put in a three-bet to 50,000 from late position. Action folded back to Helou and he decided to call.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Helou checked. Kornuth bet 60,000 and Helou stared Kornuth down before tossing in some chips to call. The turn was the {5-Hearts}. Helou checked again, Kornuth bet 160,000 this time and Helou called again.

The river was the {5-Diamonds} and Helou checked for a third time. Kornuth paused for a moment, cut out some chips and then paused again. He reached back into his stack and slip forward a stack worth 460,000. Helou snap-called and Kornuth quickly tabled {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} for two pair aces and fives. Helou mucked and paid the bet.
