Day 1g is done and seven more players are heading to Day 2 of the Quantum No-Limit Hold em tournament. Frederic Robert (308,200) is the big stack from today. Today's flight was a $350 buy-in flight and sent 13% through to Day 2. The flight got 49 players. The seven players who advanced received $400 for qualifying for Day 2. Elvira Popescu finished behind Robert with 216,200. She bagged the 14th largest stack so far, and also the biggest stack of any female who qualified so far.
So far, 63 players have advanced to Day 2 and [Removed:105] (399,100) is the big stack to this point. There are three more starting flights for the Quantum. There is another $350 buy-in, a $550 buy-in and the final flight is a $250 buy-in.

Charles La Boissonniere was eliminated by Shane Flewelling when he got all in with nines against Flewelling's jacks. Flewelling is almost at 100,000, but still behind the current chip leader with 30 left. Frederic Robert is in the lead with 152,000.
The final seven players in today's flight will earn $400 and qualify for Day 2.

Ramsey Belmaaza is already booked into Day 2 of the Quantum and is off a quick start in today's flight. He qualified in Day 1b and is mainly looking for the cash today.
He said he hoped his stack didn't get too big because he would have to forfeit it. If his stack somehow matches his previous stack, he will take the best stack forward. He also will receive $1,400 for forfeiting his other stack on top of the min cash for today.

The Quantum Day 1g is underway and 29 players are in the field. Registration is open until the start of level five.
Event #1 of the World Cup of Cards, No-Limit Hold em Quantum tournament, spans the entire tournament series. There are ten starting flights, with buy-ins from $170 to $550. Today's flight is a $350 buy-in. Thirteen percent of the field will make it through today's flight.
Levels one through ten are 20 minutes long, levels 11-20 are 30 minutes long, and levels 21 and up are 40 minutes. So far 58 players have qualified for Day 2 and [Removed:105] is the big stack with 399,100. The flight starts at 7 p.m. Day 2 returns on September 13.
