Erick Lindgren Barely Survives

Erick Lindgren pushes all in with his short stack pre-flop with {Q-Hearts}{K-Hearts} and his caller shows {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. The flop comes {A-Hearts}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Erick tells his opponent "calm down buddy" when he gets excited at seeing an Ace. Erick's advice was good since the turn brought the {J-Diamonds} further improving his odds. The river was the {10-Clubs} giving Erick a straight and the pot.

Mike Matusow Scoops a Pot

On a board of {A-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}, Scott Fischman bet 7K and Matusow raised to 19.6K. Fischman went into the tank for four minutes while Matusow sat in silence.

"You got a set?" asked Fischman.

Matusow shrugged his shoulders.

"Will you show?" asked Fischman.

Matusow nodded and Fischman reluctantly mucked. Matusow flashed {A-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Rene Angelil Eliminated

Rene Angelil was all in pre-flop with pocket 9s. He was happy to see his one caller show pocket 7s but his hope for a double up was soon turned to disgust when the flop brought another 7 giving his opponent a set.
