Other Tough Tables

There's some other tough tables in action along with the previously mentioned table. One table includes Paul Magriel, Arnold Spee, Bob Lauria, Jimmy Tran, and Nancy Todd Tyner. A few feet away, Jonathan Little, Steve Wong, Justin Bonomo, and Mike "GoLeafsGoEh" Leah are seated at the table table.

Right behind where we're stationed, Theo Tran sits with Scotty Nguyen, Thao Thiem, and Ari "BodogAri" Engel.

Theo Picks One Up

On the river, the board read {A-Hearts} {K-Clubs} {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {7-Clubs} when Theo Tran made a bet of 6,400. His opponent made the call and Tran quickly showed {7-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for the flush. His opponent revealed {Q-Clubs} {J-Spades} for two pair and then mucked his hand.

Tran is now up to 34,000.

Racener Losing Ground

John Racener made a bet of 2,700 on a flop of {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}. His opponent raised all in for 14,125 more and Racener folded after some thought.

A few hands later, Racener called an opponent's bet on the river. The board was ten high and Racener mucked his hand after his opponent showed him pocket jacks.

Racener is now down to 20,000 chips.

Kathy Liebert Takes a Small Pot

Kathy raised to 600 from late position and got one caller from early position. On a flop of {9-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} {10-Clubs}, the player in early position check-called Kathy's 1,000 bet. Both players checked the {4-Hearts} on the turn and the {4-Clubs} on the river, before Kathy tabled {Q-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} for the winning two pair.

Tony Cousineau Cracks Aces

With blinds at 100/200, Tony Cousineau made an opening raise from early position, and was quickly reraised by an opponent on the button.

The two seemed to have a history, because Tony said, "If you have aces again, I'm suing Caesars," and then pushed his entire stack into the middle. The button called and flipped over {A-Spades} {A-Clubs}. Tony tabled {K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {10-Hearts} {2-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {J-Clubs} {Q-Spades}, giving Tony the nut straight and a pot worth more than 50,000.

It looks like Caesars is safe from legal action for the moment.

The board read {10-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} between Steve Dannenmann and Matt "All in at 420" Stout. Dannenmann started the action with a bet of 800. Stout raised to 2,400. Dannenmann made the call.

The river brought the {7-Clubs} and Dannenmann checked. Stout laid out a nice bet of 4,600, and Dannenmann called. Stout revealed pocket nines, flopped quads, to scoop the pot.
