Andrew Barber entered the pot for 3,600 with Chris Klodnicki making the call before Allen Kessler moved all in from the small blind for 27,600. Barber isolated with a four-bet shove as Klodnicki kicked his cards to the muck.

The board rolled out to see Kessler snatch the double to over 60,000 as Barber slipped to roughly 28,000 in chips.
Adam Hui opened with a raise only to have Dwyte Pilgrim three-bet shove all in from the button. Hui called to put the three-time WSOP-Circuit ring holder at risk.

Unfortunately for Pilgrim, he won't be able to add a WSOP gold bracelet to his collection from this event as the final board read to end his tournament. Hui moved to 101,000 in chips.
Action folded to La Sengphet in the hijack and she raised to 3,700. Peter Ippolito responded by moving all in for his last 16,400 on the button, which Sengphet called after the blinds got out of the way.

Bernard Lee opened to 4,000 with Josh Evans making the call from the small blind to see a flop fall.
Both players checked before Evans led for 5,200 when the turn landed the . Lee made the call, and when the completed the board, Evans pushed out 11,000.
Lee went into the tank for several moments before folding while slipping to 25,500 as Evans moved to roughly 75,000 in chips.
Drazen Ilich opened to 3.600 only to have Curt Kohlberg move all in for 33,800 from the small blind. Ilich made the call as the cards were placed on their back.

The board filled out to end Kohlberg's tournament in 24th place as Ilich moved over the 160,000-chip mark.
Just before the break, a big hand developed in a blind vs. blind situation. It began when Shiva Dudani limped in the small blind and La Sengphet raised 3,600 more in the big. Dudani made the call and both players checked the flop. When the hit the turn, Dudani led out for 4,500 only to be raised 10,500 more by Sengphet.
After Dudani called and checked in the dark, the was put out on the river. Sengphet thought long and hard before firing out 30,700. Action was back on Dudani and he tanked well into the break before making the call. Sengphet rolled over for ace high, but it wasn't good against the straight of Dudani.
