"What a Squeeze!"

After a series of raises, Anthony Gregg had an opponent all in and at risk.

Opponent{10-Spades}{4-Spades}
Gregg{a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

The flop fell {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Gregg's opponent shot up from his chair.

"What a squeeze!" he shouted as the turn and river came {j-Diamonds}, {6-Diamonds} respectively. "What a squeeze!"

Gregg didn't say a word, rather the 2012 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure Main Event final tablist sat quietly and riffled his remaining 28,000 chips.

Scary Board For a Call

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

An early position player opened for 1,050 and Sirous Jamshidi called from the small blind. The flop came {A-Diamonds} {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and Jamshidi check-called 1,800. The turn brought the {8-Clubs} and both players checked. The river paired the board a second time when it fell {Q-Spades}. Jamshidi slid out 2,700 and after a few moments of thought the original raiser folded.

Go Leah Go Eh

Mike Leah is flush with new chips.
Mike Leah is flush with new chips.

Mike "goleafsgoeh" Leah just doubled with queens on an {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{9-Clubs} board against an opponent with {6-Clubs}{4-Spades}. We missed the exact action, but according to Daniel Buzgon, there was a raise, a three-bet, and a call preflop, and all the money went in on the flop.

Buzgon is also doing quite well - he's over the century mark with 110,000 chips.

Pilgrim Staying Active, Doubles

Dwyte Pilgrim

Dwyte Pilgrim and an opponent were heads up with the board reading {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and Pilgrim's opponent moved all in over a bet from Pilgrim.

"Call," Pilgrim said immediately.

The player begrudgingly turned over {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, and Pilgrim had him crushed with {a-Spades}{5-Spades}. The board ran out {7-Spades}, {k-Hearts}, and Pilgrim doubled to 36,000 chips.

Eolis Survives After a "Whoops" Moment

Wendeen Eolis has been a major contributor to the poker community fora few decades now. She was the first woman to win an European open event and also was the first woman to cash in the WSOP Main Event. Her influence is far-reaching as she is an active member of the WSOP Players Advisory Council.

We just caught her in a hand with a flop of {8-Spades} {4-Spades} {Q-Diamonds} and she was first to act. She announced all in and her opponent insta-called.

"Whoops," Eolis said, "I'm way behind." She tabled {Q-Clubs} {J-Clubs} and her opponent held {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades}.

Her "Whoops" moment turned to gold when the board completed {10-Diamonds} {9-Spades} and she doubled up with a straight.
