Congratulations to Jeff Gibralter, Winner of WSOPC Bossier City ($133,648)

The Main Event of the World Series of Poker Circuit Horseshoe Bossier City presented by Southern Comfort 100 Proof has come to a close after 405 players took to the felt. Taking home a seat to the National Championship, a WSOPC gold ring and $133,648 is Jeff Gibralter.
The pace was fast from the beginning; six players were eliminated in the first two levels. The pace came to a grinding halt during four-handed play.
Just missing out on the official final table were Michael Sanders (11th) and Jeff Siler (10th).
The first elimination of the final table occurred when Jim Parker three-bet all in preflop and Cliff Fisher called. Parker held pocket sevens and Fisher held 
. The board ran 
and Parker’s sevens were counterfeited.
Thirty minutes later we had a monster hand that saw Jesse Maupin, Mark Burford and Abraham Araya all move all in preflop with similar stack sizes. Maupin held pocket kings, Burford had pocket tens and Araya had pocket deuces. The board ran 
and Araya’s set eliminated Burford in 8th place and Maupin in 7th place.
The next to bow out was Pete Rios when he three-bet all in preflop and Gibralter called. Rios had 
and Gibralter had him dominated with pocket queens. The board ran 
and Rios exited the tournament area in sixth place.
At five-handed play Seneca Easley was the shortest stack and he moved all in from the small blind after Abraham Araya opened on the button. Araya called, tabled pocket queens and was up against Easley’s 
. The board bricked for Easley when it ran 
and he collected his fifth place prize.
Nearly two hours would pass before our next elimination. Araya shoved from the button and Gibralter called from the big blind holding pocket tens. Araya held 
and watched the board run 
. He graciously shook everyone’s hand and solidified his reputation as a class act.
Gibralter held a big chip lead entering three-way play and Cliff Fisher moved all in from the button. Jay Diaz snap-called and tabled pocket aces. Fisher held pocket fours and the board ran 
. Diaz’s aces full beat his full house and he earned a third place finish.
Heads up play between Gibralter and Dian lasted just over an hour with Gibralter starting with a heavy chip advantage. They two sparred until Diaz hit two double ups to take the chip lead. However, it would not last long. Just one hand after Diaz grabbed the chip lead Gibralter took it right back with a double up of his own.
The final hand saw both players toss in 125,000 preflop to see a flop of 
. Gibralter checked, Diaz bet 125,00 and Gibralter moved all in. Diaz called holding 
for second pair and Gibralter had top pair with 
. The turn locked up the title for Gibralter when it fell .
