The second stop on this year's World Series of Poker Circuit schedule is nearly complete with the Horseshoe Bossier City Main Event set to begin. The first of two flights will have cards in the air promptly at noon with the second flight starting at 5 p.m. CST.
There tables have been packed and Quan Nguyen has made the most of the action. He turned in three final tables already, Event 1, Event 5 and Event 8 respectively and looks to be a virtual lock for the Casino Champion title.
Matthew Colvin, "Captain" Tom Franklin and Cord Garcia have already claimed a WSOPC ring. Notables Bradley Lipsey, Becky Makar, Rex Clinkscales, Charles "Woody" Moore and Will "Monkey" Souther have all turned in final table appearances.
David Nicholson, the 2011 WSOPC Horseshoe Bossier City Main Event champion is on site and looking to defend his title. In fact, he warmed up by finishing fourth in Event 9, $1,125 No Limit Hold'em, Friday night.

Bradley Lipsey raised to 350 in late postion, the small blind called and a middle position limper called. The flop came , action checked to Lipsey and he bet 550. The small blind called and the limper folded.
The turn came and both players checked. The river came , the small blind checked and Lipsey bet 1,700. The small blind tossed in a call and waited to see Lipsey's hand.
"Two pair," Lipsey said and tabled pocket eights. The small blind turned up and took the pot.
