Ruocco Bets Out Affleck

The board read {Q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and there was already well over 8,000 in the middle. Vince Ruocco was heads up and first to act against Matt Affleck.

Ruocco moved a single 5,000 chip into the middle and Affleck pondered his action for around ninety seconds before finally letting go of his cards. Ruocco scooped up the pot and added a healthy amount to his stack.

Giesbrecht Grabs Some

We caught up to see three players looking at a flop of {J-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. The player under the gun fired out a bet of 450 and another late position player called. Sean Giesbrecht threw out a raise to 1,500 and the original bettor got out of the way.

The {8-Spades} dropped down on the turn and it was checked to Giesbrecht. He continued his aggression with 3,200 and his opponent thought for a while before finally deciding to muck his cards.
