We found MacPhee grinding to win a small portion back when he saw a flop of heads up. He check-called a bet of 500 from his opponent and the turned. The both checked and did so again on the river. MacPhee showed for a pair of jacks and took down the pot.
Going into today, many were excited as Vancouver Canucks goalie was slated to play in today's Main Event. Unfortunately, due to hockey related duties, Luongo will no longer be around to participate in the big one.
Luongo was around for a significant portion of the series, however, playing the first two events. Luongo made it past the dinner break in both events but busted shortly after both times.
Large field tournaments always seem to have one outstanding table draw with several big names seated together and today is no different. Jason Koon, Matt Jarvis, and Adam Levy are all seated at the same table and we stumbled upon a hand where Jarvis was able to scoop up a small amount of chips.
