The river brought the and Grondin's opponent checked. She reached into her stack and came out with a 1,400 bet only to have her opponent quickly come over the top for 6,400 total. Grondin thought for about thirty seconds before calling and showing her for top two pair.
Grondin's opponent flipped up for a rivered set of aces and the best hand. Despite losing this pot, Grondin is still above starting stack with about 25,500.
