Welcome To Day 1c!

Welcome back to snowy Black Hawk, Colorado! It made me cold as ice outside, but the action is just starting to heat up here at the Lodge Casino as we are gearing up for Day 1c of the WSOP Circuit Main Event!

Yesterday saw 257 players walk through the doors of the casino and into the poker room to take their shot at a WSOP-C ring, and only 76 players survived. The man who set the benchmark yesterday was Ross Lecavalier, who bagged a whopping 211,700. The next closest competitor is Ki Nam with 150,300, and not far behind is Circuit veteran Derrick Yamada, with 149,600. Yamada finished runner up in Lake Tahoe just five months ago, and also cashed at the Main Event in Los Angeles in January.

Despite the bad weather outside, we are hoping for a good turnout today. Any player who entered just one flight yesterday can come back today and re-enter, along with any other players who have $1,675 to spend. Just like yesterday, we will be playing 12 levels, with play ending around 7:30 local time.

The players will be taking their seats shortly, and play will get underway at 11 AM. As always, we here at Pokernews will bring you all the action, so sit back, relax, and enjoy our coverage of Day 1c here at the Lodge Casino!
