On a flop of , Greg Raymer bet 2,500 from the small blind, John Juanda raised to 10,000, Raymer re-potted and Juanda called all in for less. Juanda turned up for top pair, a straight draw and the nut flush draw while Raymer tabled for the flopped straight. The turn was the , but the river was the , making Juanda a royal flush! Juanda raked in the 39,000 pot while Raymer was left with only 11,000.
It happened too fast to get the particulars, but Bill Gazes stood up from the table and left the playing area as Phil Ivey scooped up a big pile of chips.
Thor Hansen raised from the button to 1,100. Eric Hershler called from the small blind. Daniel Negreanu then raised all in from the big blind for a total of 5,300, and mentioned that he may be pulling a squeeze play.
Hansen made the call and then Hershler went into the tank to think about things. While Hershler was thinking, Negreanu asked "Is there a bounty on my head?" as he smiled to the rest of the table. Hershler then folded.

Negreanu flopped top set and it held up as the board ran out , , . Negreanu is back to 13,600 chips.
The players got all the money in before the flop, with Galfond showing and Madsen . The board ran out and Galfond's full house won the pot. He's now up to 30,510 while Madsen's stack was reduced to 14,500.
Shannon Shorr was in the small blind and up against one opponent on the button. The board read when the action picked up.
Shorr checked the river and his opponent bet 3,500. Shorr raised to 12,000 and his opponent moved all in for 20,000 total. Shorr didn't hesitate in calling.
Shorr showed the for a full house, but his opponent tabled for quad nines! Shorr is stunned and eliminated on a cooler of a hand.
We kind of hate to bring this up, but Terrence Chan was eliminated early on in today's event and we found that out by reading the entry he just posted on his blog. Hopefully he'll welcome a few new readers, though that's probably small consolation at the moment.
After a flop of the player in the big blind checked and Rousso bet 1,000. The BB check-raised to 2,800 and Rousso kicked it up to 7,000. The big blind shipped in his last 20,000 and that sent Rousso into the tank for several minutes. She made the call and found that her trailed her opponent's . Rousso didn't improve, and dropping that pot reduced her stack to 3,000.
Under the gun Andy Bloch raised to 1,025 and Mike Sexton and Steve Wong called from the blinds. The players all checked the flop, and when the hit and both Sexton and Wong checked, Bloch fired out 1,500. Sexton then raised to 4,500, Wong folded, and Bloch made the call. The river was the and Sexton led out for 7,000, a bet Bloch didn't call. That pot boosted Sexton's stack to 43,000 and left Bloch with 10,400.
