Traniello Triples Up

Stud-8:

Marco Traniello was all in on fifth street with an open-ended straight draw but would need to hit as he was up against two opponents, one of whom held trip fives.

Traniello made his straight on sixth street as his board landed {5-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and his opponents bricked out to triple up to about 6,000 in chips.

No More Bad Beats Please!!

The following was overhead from the rail:

"This guy just gave me a buck for this. I have the most incredible bad beat story. I was playing the $500 satellite and...."

Another person on the rail: "I'll give you two dollars to just shut up."

Bonomo Accumulating

Omaha-8:

Justin Bonomo bet every street and was called down by his opponent on a board of {6-Hearts}{7-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Bonomo flipped {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the nut flush to go with his nut low, to take down a nice pot and move to 11,300 chips.

Hold'em:

Dario Alioto fans will be disappointed to learn that he was recently eliminated from today's event. Alioto pushed the last of his 500 chips into the middle in a hold'em hand against Markus Golser.

Alioto held K-9 but was dominated by the K-10 of Golser. Another ten on the board was enough to send Alioto to an early exit.
