The players at Table #15 already had to deal with Phil Ivey, Bill Edler and Noah Boeken. Just making his appearance in today's event was Doyle Brunson, who just took his chair in Seat #2.

Also buying in very late was Ted Forrest and Hoyt Corkins. And we just saw Anna Wroblewski walking around the floor with a seat card in her hand.

You can register for events through the first two levels of an event and a number of well-known players just beat the deadline. Gabe Kaplan just bought in, as did Vivek Rajkumar and Josh Arieh. Max Pescatori, fresh from winning a bracelet in Event #24, the $2,500 Pot-Limit Hold'Em/Omaha tournament, has also just taken a seat.

Not that there are many easy tables in a $10,000 buy-in event, but Table 23 looks especially nasty. Seated there are Joe Sebok, J.C. Tran, Michael Mizrachi, Huck Seed, and Theo Tran.

Slotboom Gets Set Up

Preflop, from the cutoff, Rolf Slotboom led out and a player on the button raised. Action folded around to Rolf who called. The flop came {J-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} and Rolf led out again, only for his opponent to make it two bets. Rolf called and the turn brought the {5-Clubs}. Rolf fired again and again his opponent bumped the bet. The river was the {7-Hearts} and Rolf check-called his opponent. His opponent showed pocket jacks for top set and took it down. After the hand, Rolf is down to 5,200.
