Scary Sixes

John Juanda and an opponent capped the betting preflop. The flop came a devilish {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}, and Juanda check-called. Both players checked the {10-Diamonds} on the turn. The river brought the {5-Spades}, Juanda bet, and his opponent called. Both turned over A-K and chopped the pot.

Erick Lindgren limps in from middle position. Vivek Rajkumar raises in the cutoff to 550 and Erick Lindgren calls. The flop is {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}{4-Clubs} and Lindgren checks. Rajkumar bets 900 and Lindgren calls. The turn is the {10-Spades} and Lindgren checks. Rajkumar bets 1,500 and Lindgren is all in for 5,050. Rajkumar calls, having him covered, and shows {8-Spades}{6-Spades} to Lindgren's {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}. The river is the {J-Hearts} and Lindgren wins the pot. "I'm always lurking," Lindgren says.

Lindgren turns to the PokerNews reporter. "Don't write that up! That's a boring hand."

Devilfish Attack

A player in early position raised preflop to 1,000, and Dave "Devilfish" Ulliott called behind him. The flop came {2-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. The EP player bet 1,000 and Ulliott called. The turn brought the {2-Spades}, and the EP player pushed all in with his last 5,000. Ulliott called.

They turned over their cards, and Ulliott's A-A was well ahead of his opponent's Q-Q. The river brought no queen, and the Devilfish had claimed another victim. Ulliott is up to 30,000.
