Elimination Chamber

Tom Chambers raised to 12,000 and Shannon Shorr reraised to 38,000. Chambers made the call.

The flop came {Q-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} and Shorr moved all in. He had Chambers covered and Chambers made the call for his remaining 45,000.

Chambers: {A-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {5-Spades} {3-Hearts}
Shorr: {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs}

The turn came the {9-Hearts} and then the river the {2-Clubs} to give Chambers the wheel and the best hand. He moved up to 176,000 on this hand and crippled Shorr to only 8,000.

Sick Tables

We're currently occupying tables 8, 9, and 10 here in the Brasilia room. Though we might not be occupying table 8 for very long, as five of the nine players there make up the shortest stacks left in the tournament.

We also feel bad for players at table 9, which currently holds the top five chip leaders. Talk about random redraw!

Much Quieter on This Side

Originally, play had been taking place in the far corner of the Brasilia room. However, once they cleared out the $1,000 Rebuy tournament from this room, we got moved clear down to the other side. It took a bit to adjust, and the tournament staff stopped the clock in the meantime, but we're back in business now.

We're also much, much farther away from the nightly tournament as well, which means it's a whole lot quieter too.

Big Turn for Seidel

The flop was {A-Spades} {K-Hearts} {9-Clubs} and Sigi Stockinger and Erik Seidel got it all in with Stockinger's tournament life on the line.

Seidel: {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} {J-Spades} {J-Hearts}
Stockinger: {A-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}

Stockinger was good until the dealer slapped the {Q-Diamonds} on the turn. The river was the {8-Spades} and Seidel took out Stockinger to move up to 90,000.

Crane Lifted Out of Here

Ward Crane raised pot from middle position and Daniel Klein repotted from behind him. Crane said, "All right, let's go." and put the rest of his chips in the middle.

Crane held {A-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} against Klein's {A-Clubs} {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} {8-Diamonds}.

The board ran out {Q-Hearts} {J-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} {J-Spades} and Klein's aces were good as they made two pair with the jacks on board. No low was possible and Crane out.
