McDonald, Denny's, or Carl's Jr???

It is now a little after 5 a.m. in the morning and we still have two more players to eliminate before we have our final table of nine. The question soon will be, where do we have breakfast?

(For those of you on the east coast of the United States reading this, Carl's Jr is the west-coast equivalent of Hardee's.)

Jac Arama Eliminated in 12th Place ($13,985)

Arama Out
Arama Out
Five players saw the flop, including Jac Arama and Scott Clements. On a flop of {7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}, Arama bet out and was called in three spots, including by Clements. On the turn of the {8-Clubs}, Arama went all in for his last 15,000. He again received three callers. On the river card of the {A-Spades}, Clements bet out and everyone else folded.

Clements showed {A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Spades} for the wheel, and Arama was sent packing.

Shirley Graham Eliminated in 14th Place ($11,143)

Graham Gone
Graham Gone
Before the hand, there was a dealer change. Shirley Graham looked over to someone in the crowd and whispered, "I'm gone." From the crowd we could overhead, "She doesn't like that dealer."

Three people limped in to Graham on the button, who made it two bets to go. She received three callers. The flop was {7-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and it was checked around. The turn was the {J-Spades}. One of the middle-position players bet and the other two called. The river was the {K-Diamonds}, which was checked around. George Guzman jumped up and said, "I got lucky!" and showed {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{Q-Spades}{5-Clubs} for the nut straight. He continued to say, "I got lucky" as Graham showed the {A-Spades}{2-Hearts}. She mucked the other two cards.

Graham told the floorman, "Pay me my money so I can go home."

Shirley Graham was our last woman standing today.

John Lukas Eliminated in 15th Place ($11,143)

John Lukas - 15th Place
John Lukas - 15th Place
Mark Wilds opened with a raise from middle position and John Lukas reraised on the button for the last of his 23,000 chips. The action folded to Wilds who made the call.

Wilds: {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Lukas: {A-Spades}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

"Wow, we're pretty close!" quipped Wilds as the flop landed {10-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. "That's a good flop for you," remarked Wilds as Lukas had spiked his eight. However the turn landed the {J-Hearts} and Wilds again chirped "That's not such a good turn for you!"

The river was the {Q-Clubs} and Wilds' pair of jacks is good to take the high with no low hand on board, to eliminate John Lukas in 15th place for a collect of $11,143.

Jamison Wins 3/4 of a Huge Pot

Greg Jamison and Thang Luu just tangled in a big pot. Preflop, Luu three-bet and was called by Jamison. On a flop of {K-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {A-Clubs}, Jamison check called a bet from Luu. On the turn of the {7-Hearts} , Jamison turned around and check-raised a bet from Luu. When the river card of the {J-Clubs} hit, Jamison bet out and Luu called.

Jamison showed an {A-?} {2-?} {3-?} {4-?} for aces up and a nut low. Luu showed {A-?} {2-?} {3-?} {5-?} for just a pair and a nut low. Jamison took 3/4 of a pot worth nearly 170,000 chips.
