Shortly after, Kostritsyn found himself up against Scott Carpenter on a board of . Kostritsyn fired 60,000 on the river and Carpenter made the call tabling for just second pair. It was a good call as Kostritsyn mucked his cards to slip back to 700,000 chips.

Hellmuth immediately erupted. "Oh, this IDIOT!" he cried. "Called a raise with 7-5. This idiot from Northern Europe."
Valikoski has 560,000, and Hellmuth is now at 200,000. He's not discouraged, though. He is saying he'll have a million by the end of the day.
Doron Malinasky held and liked the look of a flop of as he flopped a set of tens. However he didn't like it as much as Darus Suharto who held for the flopped nut straight. Seber folded, and Lessinger, with only about 150,000 behind and perhaps thinking about the possible connotation of Peter's last name, decided to fold what he said were pocket queens.
If so, he was probably kicking himself when he saw Traply turn over and Hornet . The board ended up and Hornet took down the 690,000 pot.

A middle-position player opened with a raise to 23,000 before Chris Barrile reraised to 76,000 from the cutoff. The action was then with Lanini Davor on the button who moved all in over the top. The blinds folded, as did the initial raiser before Barrile made the call.
