Victoria Volynsky is out after pushing for her last 8,600 to an under-the-gun raise from Nancy Bane. Bane duly called, the two duly flipped, and Volynsky duly exited the tournament. Bane is up to over 100,000 now.
Brett Abarbanel will not be going any further in this tournament after getting it in with to a raise from Laura Rody. Rody called with -- all good for Abarbanel, until Rody made a runner-runner flush to send her to the rail.
An enormous three-way monster pot erupted when Amanda Cook moved in from the hijack and Mari Lou Morelli called from the button, only for Leah Albritton to re-shove from the small blind. Eventually Morelli called, and it was the right decision -- she proceeded to knock out both players in one fell swoop, and is up to 97,000.
A bit of a disaster for Svetlana Gromenkova -- a preflop raising war resulted in Lisa Hamilton all in and Gromenkova calling. She stayed behind all the way and dropped to 43,000, while Hamilton is up to 70,000.
Maridu Mayrinck is back in contention after doubling up to with pocket against an opponent's pocket fours. No danger at all on the board, and she's back up to 32,000.
Lori Bender is up to 60,000 -- most recently, she called a short stack's desperate shove, had the short stack dominated with and proceeded to flop a jack to bust her hapless opponent.
Melissa Verrett is a goner. Nancy Bane just limped in and Verrett shoved with , but Bane was sitting on and a harmless board later, we are down one visor-wearing blonde.
