Mari-Disaster

Maridu Mayrinck
Maridu Mayrinck
Maridu Mayrinck, only recently doubled to around the 50,000 mark, has been crippled down to 12,000. The chips went in preflop, Mayrinck holding {J-Hearts} {J-Diamonds} and her opponent holding {A-Clubs} {K-Hearts}. A king on the turn, and Mayrink is in the danger zone.

Board: {4-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {5-Spades} {K-Spades} {2-Hearts}

Vull-Over and Out

Tracy Vullo called all in to a shove from an under-the-gun opponent, and coinflipped her way out of the tournament.

Vullo: {A-Spades} {J-Spades}
Ms Under the Gun: {7-Clubs} {7-Spades}

Board: {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} {2-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}

Broda Bing! Move of Honour for Lorri

Lorri Broda is on a tear -- she's just knocked out two players in quick succession, putting her up to 59,000.

First up, Espy Enriquez open-shoved for her last 5,100 and Broda reraised to 10,000 to isolate. On their backs and Enriquez was ahead, but a bink for Broda on the flop and she hit the rail.

Enriquez: {A-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}
Broda: {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}

Board: {6-Hearts} {K-Spades} {8-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {7-Hearts}

--------

A couple hands later and Broda raised to 6,000, getting a call from Nicole Honour. Honour got all her chips in the middle on the flop and Broda snap-called, and it was the end of the tournament line for Honour.

Honour: {8-Clubs} {8-Spades}
Broda: {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs}

Board: {A-Clubs} {5-Clubs} {J-Hearts} {2-Spades} {6-Hearts}

A Stern Upbraiding

Stern - not here no more
Stern - not here no more
Just before the break we lost Maria Stern. It folded around to her in the small blind and she pushed with {Q-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}, but Inida Storrar called in the big blind with {K-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}. Both players failed to hit anything at all, and Stern is busto.

Storrar, who'd dropped a few chips in level 12, is back up to 25,000.

Jett All Set

Meanwhile, Karina Jett is up to 39,000 after a three-way confrontation, with one player all in before the flop. Jett and her other opponent checked it down, and Jett's two pair was good to take the pot and knock out the all-in shortie.

All in shortie: mucked
Ms Opponent: {K-Hearts} {J-Hearts}
Jett: {J-Clubs} {8-Spades}

Maridouble-Up

Oooh, aces!
Oooh, aces!
Maridu Mayrinck has doubled up to 48,000. Her opponent raised, Mayrinck reraised, Ms Opponent pushed and Mayrinck happily called all in.

Ms Opponent: {A-?} {Q-?}
Mayrinck: {A-?} {A-?}

A queen came on the flop, but it wasn't enough to stop Maridu. "Don't hate me," said Mayrinck as she raked in the chips.
