Donev Donates

Feeling Lusky
Feeling Lusky
Marcel Luske on the button and Ivo Donev in the big blind went heads up to a {3-Hearts} {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} flop, which Donev check-raised. Call.

Donev checked again on the {K-Diamonds} turn and this time he passed to Luske's bet; Luske showed him {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} as he took the pot.

Luske: 9,000
Donev: 6,600

Ivey Creeps Away

On a kn-Ivey edge all day
On a kn-Ivey edge all day
Phil Ivey is busto.

He arrived late and never got above his starting stack; eventually he raised in late position and called all in for 750 total to a reraise from the button (the big blind came along for the ride too, but folded to continued betting from the button on the turn).

Ivey: {A-Diamonds} {6-Clubs}
Mr Button: {K-Clubs} {K-Spades}

Board: {9-Diamonds} {4-Spades} {3-Spades} {4-Diamonds} {K-Diamonds}

Parker Reverses

What a Brock
What a Brock
Brock Parker raised it up from the button and both blinds called; they saw a {2-Clubs} {A-Clubs} {4-Clubs} flop.

It checked around to Parker who bet and the small blind called, but the big blind raised. Not put off in the slightest, both players called.

The small blind checked the {Q-Spades} turn and this time it was the big blind's turn to bet; Parker called and the small blind ducked out of the way.

The big blind bet out again on the {K-Diamonds} river and Parker called, but Mr Big Blind turned over {J-Clubs} {9-Clubs} for the flopped flush and Parker just mucked.

Mr Parker is still fairly comfortable on 10,600 though.

Devon Knows

Not taking it Bryan down
Not taking it Bryan down
Bryan Devonshire raised to a bet on the {10-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {6-Spades} flop and then bet the {5-Spades} turn and the {2-Clubs} river as well. His opponent check-called all the way, but Devonshire's pocket {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} were good to take the pot.

He's up to 6,500.

Not Quite All-ie In

Allie Prescott, who recently finished ninth at the $10,000 Mixed Event, is down to just 1,550 after failing to better his opponent's {A-Diamonds} {K-Clubs} on a {K-Spades} {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {Q-Clubs} {A-Hearts} board and just mucking instead.
