Turner Saved by the River

Phew!
Phew!
Stud

Jon Turner ({J-Hearts})({7-Spades}){J-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {10-Spades} {10-Hearts} ({J-Spades})
Frank Cremen ({2-Diamonds})({8-Diamonds}){J-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} (?)

Jon Turner was all in on fifth street against Frank Cremen. When Cremen made his flush on sixth, Turner's only hope was to catch a jack or a ten on the river to make a full house. He hit the case jack to double up to 200,000 while Cremen was left with 165,000.

Erick Lindgren {9-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {9-Hearts}
Freddy Deeb {J-Spades} {J-Clubs} {J-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} {4-Diamonds}

Erick Lindgren was all in on third street, his split tens up against Deeb's rolled-up jacks. Though both players rivered full houses, Deeb's was the higher of the two with jacks full of fours to Lindgren's nines full of tens, and E-Dog hit the rail.

Perry Out-flushed

John Kabbaj
John Kabbaj
Omaha-8

On a flop of {3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{2-Spades} Ralph Perry led out with a bet from under the gun and John Kabbaj made the call on the button.

The turn brought the {9-Spades} and Perry fired before Kabbaj raised. Perry called and then fired at the {3-Spades} river. Kabbaj made the call.

Perry tabled {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} for aces that ended with a small flush, but Kabbaj showed {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for a bigger flush to scoop.

Perry - 255,000
Kabbaj - 350,000

Habib Bleeding Chips

Stud-8

Hasan Habib has been amongst the leaders for the first two days of this H.O.R.S.E. but like a marathon, this event isn't won in the early stages.

Habib has been struggling today as we recently caught him tangling with Chau Giang in a recent Stud-8 hand where the two players switched control of the pot. Giang led on fourth, Habib took over on fifth before Giang led again on sixth. On the river Giang fired again but Habib gave it up.

Giang: (X-X) {A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}{8-Spades} (X)
Habib: (X-X) {Q-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts} (X)

Giang is up to 300,000 with Habib down to just 170,000.
