No Rebuys?

Even though there are no rebuys slated on the schedule this year, the players are playing this tournament like it is a rebuy -- with limitations of course. Many players in the field today have opted to use one bullet at a time instead of using two or three of them at once.

More Players

Nam Le and David Sklansky just walked in. Jim Geary final tabled the Event #3, $1,500 Omaha 8-or-Better, and is here as well.

Erik Seidel and Jennier Harman's husband, Marco Traniello, are also taking their seats.

Enter Minieri

Dario Minieri just sat down over at David "Chino" Rheem's table. Upon sitting down, Minieri greeted everyone and then explained that he's never played this game before.

Mike "The Mouth" Matusow is debating giving Rheem and Minieri a last-longer bet. "You'd need 100-to-1 to last longer than me and Dario would need 150-to-1." Matusow joked with Rheem. "I can't do that though, I don't want to make you play better. It'd be unfair to the rest of your table," he continued.

More Faces and Tough Tables

Roy Winston joined the action on table $234 with Huck Seed, Daniel Alaei, and Nikolay Evdakov. Freddy Deeb, Barry Greenstein, David "Chino" Rheem, David Singer, and Scotty Nguyen are also seated in the field. Nguyen and Flack joined Mike Caro's table.

On the other side of the room away from where we're set up is a tough table containing Kelly Kim, Ralph Perry, Chau Giang, Alessio Isaia, and Jose Luis Velador.

Tough Tables in Action

A few tables around the room have three or four top players seated at them.
