Obrestad Forced To Use Button

Annette Obrestad opened to 100 only to have Lex Veldhuis make it 250.

Obrestad made the call before tossing in one card only to have Veldhuis draw two and prompt a laugh from Obrestad.

Obrestad led out for 400 and Veldhuis made the call tabling his {J-}{9-}{7-}{5-}{2-} as Obrestad mucked her hand.

With Veldhuis chipping up to 1,800, Obrestad was forced to use one of her three remaining buttons as she climbs back to 1,100 in chips.

Bonomo Makes Winning 10-8

Justin Bonomo opened to 100 from middle position and found action from two opponents in the blinds; one being Fabrice Soulier.

Bonomo and the small blind drew one while Soulier drew two before the action was checked to Bonomo.

Bonomo fired out 300 and found a call from the small blind as Soulier folded.

Tabling his {10-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}, Bonomo raked in the pot to climb to 1,900 as his opponent flashed his {10-}{9-}.

Bonomo also still has his three add-on buttons remaining.

'basebaldy' Chips Up

Eric 'basebaldy' Baldwin fired out a 425-chip bet into a pot of roughly the same size.

With cards already drawn, his opponent went into the tank for nearly two minutes before making the call.

Baldwin quickly flipped over his {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} to rake in the pot and climb to over 2,400 while also keeping his three add-on buttons intact.

D'Agostino Near Doubles

Facing a raise to 125 and a three-bet ahead of him, John D'Agostino made the call as did the original raiser.

D'Agostino stood pat while his two opponent's drew one each before the original raiser lead out for 550.

The player caught in the middle passed but D'Agostino pushed all in for 1,150.

His opponent contemplated a decision before folding to see D'Agostino rake in the pot and move to over 3,200 in chips with three add-on buttons remaining.

All Three For Glantz

Matt Glantz
Matt Glantz

With each player receiving three buttons that signify the three 1,000-chip add-ons, it appears only player has used them all.

Matt Glantz is the one and consequently he is up to 4,900 in chips.

A few players have used one button to top-up, but it appears so far that no one has been forced to use one through being felted.
